Frequently asked questions
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI discover and call external tools. When your AI connects to an MCP server it can see what tools exist and decide when to use them. bubi’s connector makes bubi one of those tools — findable, callable, and safe to hand real work to.
Which AI clients can I use?
Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-capable clients. Sign-in uses OAuth, so a client has to support that flow to connect.
How is this different from bubi’s own partner agent?
bubi’s partner agent lives inside bubi and works with you there. The connector runs the other way: your own AI drives bubi from wherever you already work. Same tools, same limits, same audit trail.
Is it included in my plan?
Yes. The MCP connector is available with all paid plans.
Can I connect with an API key?
No. OAuth only. The connector uses your own bubi permissions, so it can only reach what you can reach, and you can withdraw any grant whenever you like.
Do I need a broker account to use it?
No. Your AI can build playbooks and run Simulations with nothing connected. A broker or prop-firm account is only needed once you want to trade.
